Sorry that I am almost a week late in posting this!

There were no public comments because there usually is almost no public that attends...  There is a small group of residents that attend on a regular basis, and some township employee's attend.  I just don't understand why more residents don't attend the DDA or Township Trustee Board Meetings.  Everything that goes on in our township affects every resident.  I would think they would like to be aware of what is going on and to maybe have some input.  I guess I should just be happy that some people do take the time to watch these videos and read my blog.  Sometimes I just get frustrated that there is not more public involvement in the affairs of our township.

They approved the 2016 budget, I can't tell you anything about it.  You can probably contact someone with the DDA and get information if you are interested.

There will be some needed repairs done at the car pool parking lot.  Sounds good to me.  Chuck Beck Electric, I have dealt with them and would recommend them to anyone.  One thing always amazes me about the car pool parking lot -- that is that it is usually full. It is also very nice looking, nice landscaping, lights etc...  That is probably one of those good things in Bridgeport that tends to get overlooked by many.

They had a lengthy discussion about the 2016 Landscaping Contract.  

They had talked in the past about the Water Garden that is located next to the parking lot across from Gobeyn's service station and near the bridge.  I never realized before that the garden area was not just for looks, it also serves a very vital purpose.  Sorry, sometimes I am a little slow on the uptake!!

I wanted to take a look at the plans after the meeting but once again I got distracted and forgot to follow through.  Scattered brain syndrome strikes again :-)  I will try to get the information in the future and share it here.  I am looking forward to seeing the garden area when it is finished.  Can you tell that I love flowers?  I love seeing Bridgeport looking nice.

They also talked about the sponsor for the "Rock" area.  Thank You to the sponsor!!  I really like that area.  They also talked about a new sponsor that will be sponsoring a new area, the "North Gateway" area. That will be really nice!  And again - Thank You to the sponsor!!  People with a vision for the future of Bridgeport, we need more like them.

The GLDC is one more step closer to becoming a reality.  Bond Pre-Payment plan, sounds good.  Sidewalk repairs, looking good.  Bridgeport, Looking Good!
