This was a brief meeting that was held just to discuss school policy on honoring former school employees and alumni and the renaming of school facilities. Policy is in place for a reason and it does need to be followed. It probably would be a good idea also if they put together a committee made up of various groups like board members, school staff etc... to make these recommendations.
Sorry again if you have trouble hearing the discussion. At past board meetings it seemed they used to make sure that the speaker was on and that every member used the microphone when they spoke. They don't seem to do that anymore. I have no idea why. They may be able to hear each other, but they need to remember that they are not in a private meeting, they are in an open and public meeting. The public has the right to hear what is discussed.
